The enterprises incorporated into the holding company certified forest management system and chain of custody according to international Forest Stewardship Council standards and received FM-Group Cherepovetsles certificate.

Forest management system and sale of various roundwood, sawntimber of own production of "Cherepovetsles", "Belozerskles", "Vashkinsky LPH", "Babaevsky LPH" was assessed during the audit by GFA Consulting Group and entitled to use the FSC trademark.

During the process of certification JSC Cherepovetsles has taken the authority of group management. The auditors assessed activities in offices as well as production activities directly at sites. In whole, 312 thousand hectares of forest area was certified.

At present, all timber felling enterprises incorporated into the holding company are FSC certified. The biggest timber felling enterprise in the structure of holding "Belozersky LPH" received FSC FM and COC certificates in 2004.
